This is often a bone of contention with some parents and so many parents and professionals have views on when is the correct age for a child to start school that it can be difficult for parents to decide. My personal opinion is that it is personal preference and very much depends on each individual child. No two children are the same and whilst one child might have been ready for school at 4, their sibling may not necessarily be ready when they are 4.
